The Farwell area was the hardest hit by a hail and wind storm that swept across the county Wednesday night…Downed trees brought down power lines in the town and in the rural areas… Rural homes in the Farwell area also lost windows in the storm…The greatest crop damage was also in the Farwell area.

As of Sunday afternoon, the South Loup River’s flow reading is a bit strange. It shows the flow of 125 cubicfeet- per-second (cfs), but the graph goes up and down a lot. I wonder if something isn’t amiss with the measurer. The Middle Loup River at St. Paul’s graph looks normal, with a reading of 653 cfs. The North Loup River’s chart is also jumping around a lot, with a current reading stating 1,200 cfs.
