The North Loup River as of Sunday morning is almost the same as the Middle Loup River, reading 1,240 cfs, average is 603 cfs. The rain has done wonders for the river levels.

Fifty-three dogs (and their owners) converged on the St. Paul Water Park Sunday evening, where they enjoyed a swim from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. That can mean only one thing…the swimming season is over, summer is drawing to a close and school is about to start. “There were dogs that swam in the shallow water and some that wouldn’t get in,” remarked water park manager, Kristy Smith. “Others swam in the deep and went off the diving board. We even had a few little dogs that did the logs.”
