The Howard County Ministerial Association elected new leadership during its 2026 annual meeting, appointing officers who will serve two-year terms. Volunteers with St. Paul Fire and Rescue, officers from the St. Paul Police Department, and deputies with the Howard County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the intersection of 6th and Kendall streets in St. Paul on April 7th in response to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The Middle Loup River is up thirty percent from last week, reading 1,150 cfs. The North Loup River is up almost twenty-nine percent, at 737 cfs. The geese are nesting, ducks are flying, and the game camera picked up over forty pelicans on a pond. We went out on the airboat with some grandkids on Sunday. What a beautiful day.
