I checked the river flows after our family Easter gathering late Sunday afternoon. The South Loup River is up just a bit, reading 223 cubic-feet-per-second (cfs). I would think the measuring device is stuck, but during the week the river did fluctuate. The Middle Loup River is down following a high reading of 1,440 cfs after the nice rain we had.

A huge thank you to all of you who stopped by to wish me well on my retirement! I was completely surprised by the wonderful turnout! Thank you to everyone for all of your support over the past forty-five years. I’m incredibly grateful to have had Joan Koperski (my first office manager) and Lonnie Kowalski (my very first full-time welder) stop by. It brought tears to my eyes! I also want to mention a few others: Doug Derver for handling the intense growth of the shop, and Luke Burson, who worked with me for twenty-six years and helped through some very tough times. And a special thank you to my office manager of thirty years Carie Ohde! Thank you, thank you.
