What a beautiful Sunday. We noticed our ponds were down, so I expected the rivers were also, and I was not wrong. Sunday afternoon, the South Loup River was down six cubic-feet-per-second (cfs) at 197 cfs. The Middle Loup River is measuring 1,070 cfs. The North Loup River dropped also reading 673 cfs, compared to 737 cfs last Sunday. We hear turkeys gobbling in the early mornings and evenings. I hear a pheasant occasionally. The songbirds seem happy with their unique songs.
