ST. PAUL JUNIORS WALK IT OFF AGAINST CENTURA There was no shortage of offense in Tuesday’s battle between the St.

On their home diamond last Tuesday, the St. Paul Seniors suffered their fourth loss of the season when a late rally fell just short in their meeting with Centura, resulting in a 9-7 defeat.

Central City’s Post 6 Juniors found themselves in a fourrun hole after two innings in Thursday’s Battle of the Kernels with Centura. However, with some lategame offensive heroics and standout pitching, the Green and Gold rallied to an 8-7 walk-off victory.

Since suffering their third loss of the season two weeks ago, the St. Paul Seniors have been red hot, rattling off five straight dominant victories. Most recently, the Post 119 Seniors caught fire on the road and handed Aurora and Ord 16-2 and 9-0 losses, respectively.

CENTURA JUNIORS BEST PWG The Post 333 Juniors notched their third consecutive win last Tuesday, besting Palmer-Wolbach- Greeley (PWG) at home 10-2 and improving their regular season record to 13-2.

The Centura Post 333 Seniors hit a small midseason skid last week, dropping two of their three pool play games in the Twin River Tournament. In their opening game, with Riley Spiehs on the pitcher’s mound, Centura found themselves in a defensive battle with Sutton.

After joining forces during the high school season, the St. Paul and Palmer-Wolbach- Greeley (PWG) seniors divided up and met on Grover Cleveland Alexander Field last Thursday, with the hosts using a red-hot start to blank the Blue Ducks, 13-0.

The top senior basketball players from across the LouPlatte Conference got one last chance to showcase their skills on the hardwood last Thursday as they took on the best of the best from the Southwest Conference in the 2026 New West All-Star Classic in Minden.

ST. PAUL TOPS PWG JUNIORS 14-2 Patience at the plate paid off for the St. Paul Juniors in their meeting with Palmer- Wolbach-Greeley (PWG) last Wednesday. On their home field, St. Paul earned a slim five-tofour hitting advantage but drew eleven walks on the way to a 14-2 victory over the Blue Ducks.
