The St. Paul Summer Rec Program is in full swing for the summer season, offering activities ranging from Nerf gun wars, to throwing and hitting clinics, to science courses and beginners’ sign language—and much more—until early July.

Taken from the files of The Wolbach Messenger Ten Years Ago, 2015 Games and contests were held at the Wolbach pool on Friday. Among them was a boat race, which was won by Olivia Nelson and Taryn Barr.

The grassy area south of the St. Paul school was dotted with colorful tents on Wednesday afternoon, June 17th, as an estimated 380 cyclists...and family traveling with this year’s Tour de Nebraska have an overnight stop in St. Paul. Local organizers of the stop received many favorable comments on the city and hospitality. The school and the Howard County Senior Center provided transportation from the camping site to downtown, swimming pool, motels, and the winery. This year’s riders ranged in age from fourteen to eighty years and represented fifteen states and Canada.
