Taken from the files of The Wolbach Messenger Ten Years Ago, 2016 There have been a lot of improvements and updates made at the cemetery this spring. The Board has hired Elwin Beed from Palmer who has been repairing headstones and pouring cement, along with cleaning and straightening rows of headstones that have been needing attention for some time.

The second session of the 109th Legislature adjourned sine die last Friday, April 13th. District 41 Senator Fred Meyer described the sixty-day short session on Monday as “frugal,” one defined by the state’s budget deficit and lawmakers’ attempts to balance cutting spending and maintaining key services.
