Stakeholders discuss situation along Middle Loup

Body Representatives from a variety of interests, state agencies, and governments gathered last week to discuss possible solutions to the erosion occurring on the west bank of the Middle Loup River south of St. Paul, but only the City of St.
ATTENDEES at last week’s special meeting regarding the erosion along the Middle Loup River south of St. Paul had the chance to view the river and the repairs made to the Nebraska Central Railroad line prior to the start of the meeting at the St. Paul Civic Center. Railroad officials reminded members of the public last week that individuals should not walk on the railroad tracks, as it is both unlawful and dangerous. Photos by Michael Happ
