SPPS to Present Sister Act, The Musical this Weekend

The St. Paul Public Schools Music Department will be bringing an adaptation of one of the most financially successful comedies of the 1990s to St. Paul this weekend, with performances of Sister Act, The Musical scheduled for Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 12th at 5:00 p.m. at the district’s old gym.

St. Paul Students Receive Art Awards

Several St. Paul Public Schools (SPPS) art students have received notification that their artwork has been selected for the annual Scholastic Art Awards of Nebraska exhibition. Artwork is submitted from schools across the state, and the quality of this artwork is of the highest standards. This year, there were 2,646 total entries and only 756 awards given.

St. Paul Cheer, Dance Squads Compete at State

The St. Paul High School (SPHS) cheer and dance squads made their way to the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island on February 17th and 18th, where the Wildcat teams joined numerous other groups from Class C-1 schools in competition at the 2023 Nebraska State Cheer & Dance Championships, which had been held from Thursday, February 16th through Saturday, February 18th.
