Irrigation District Prepares to Deliver

Body
As the mercury begins to rise and planting continues across the Loup Valley, leaders with one local irrigation district are starting to prep for what they predict will be a busy irrigation season. At the Farwell Irrigation District (FID), General Manager Matt Lukasiewicz said last Monday, that employees were hard at work in the early stages of “spring work”—including spring repairs and maintenance, weed burns, etcetera— as the district continued to prepare to distribute water through its irrigation canals later this month.

Thank You Card

Body
I would like to extend my gratitude to Bridgett Lassen and Riley Peters for nominating me for the Rotary District 5630 Interact Member of the Year Award; also, thanks to Bridgett for driving our Interact Club members to the Rotary District Conference in Broken Bow last weekend and enthusiastically sponsoring us on Saturday. In addition, I would like to thank both Riley and Bridgett for all of their leadership efforts in co-sponsoring our Interact Club this year. Additionally, the support of the St. Paul Rotary Club continues to be appreciated! It has been my pleasure to serve as Interact president this year, especially surrounded by such an outstanding group of peer leaders and community change-makers! Sincerely, Aiden Anderson ——————————
