A new stair chair was purchased for the Dannebrog/ Boelus EMTs to help carry people up or down stairs. The chair will make it easier for patients being moved and help the EMTs’ back strain.
Mobile food pantry to be held in St. Paul

The Howard-Greeley County Food Pantry and Foodbank for the Heartland will be sponsoring a Mobile Food Pantry on Saturday, November 11th, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. or until all the food is gone, whichever is sooner. Anyone can be served; there are no age limits, no income guidelines, or limits on family size. Families from any county may be served.

Casey Schleicher, formerly of Dannebrog, was among the recipients of the award. Schleicher is an environmental specialist who focuses on dam safety in Nebraska. He was a 2000 graduate of Centura High School and now resides with his wife, Michaela, in Lincoln.
