Age, flooding among factors that impacted trees at Dannebrog Park According to the Nebraska Forest Service, age and stress caused by the 2019 bomb cyclone event are suspected to be responsible for the death of several trees in Dannebrog Park that began dropping branches in early September. Dannebrog Village Manager Terry Webb said on Monday that “eight to ten” trees had died in the park so far.
