DAYS GONE BY

Body
Ten Years Ago, 2014 On Thursday, July 31st, the last issue of The Wolbach Messenger was published at the central printing plant in St. Paul. The 113-year-old newspaper has been published by the Thompson family for the past sixty-eight years. For forty-one of those years, the newspaper was published on the Pacer web offset press, which was officially retired from service on Thursday. The Wolbach Messenger news will now become part of The Phonograph-Herald, starting this week.

Keith and I would like to thank everyone for coming to help us celebrate our 80th birthdays and for those who brought food, cards, and gifts. We really enjoyed seeing friends and family from out of town. Thanks also to Jaime and Kristi for hosting. We love the Palmer community!
