Organizers are shifting gears after learning that the epicenter of St. Paul’s annual summer celebration may still be under construction this summer Last Monday night, during the St. Paul City Council’s March 16th meeting, members of the council facilitated a discussion concerning how ongoing improvements to the St. Paul City Park may impact this year’s GCA Days celebration.

Taken from the files of The Wolbach Messenger Ten Years Ago, 2016 Congressman Adrian Smith welcomed the Central Valley High School Class of 2016 to the United States Capital on Wednesday, March 16th, during their visit to Washington, D.C. Twenty Years Ago, 2006 Spring arrived on Monday, right in the middle of a three-day snow storm that officially dropped twenty- four inches of snow in Wolbach, containing just over two inches of moisture.

St. Paul’s City Council met Monday evening with a number of items on the agenda…Chuck Schmid was present to ask the city if they would be willing to absorb the cost of electricity and maintenance for a LED time and temperature sign at 7th Avenue and Howard Avenue. The old sign from 1993 quit working and was removed. Over 180 people had signed a petition to ask for the return of the sign.
