Nine students from St. Paul High School took home medals for their participation at the Nebraska FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) District 6 STAR Event Competition. This annual event was held on Friday, February 3rd at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and featured over nineteen different competitive events. Competitors include:

Even before members of the St. Paul girls’ wrestling team hit the mat for their first practices of the season, the Blue and Gold had some big goals for their second year participating in the sport.

When the St. Paul Wildcats met up with their LouPlatte Conference foes from Central City earlier in the year, the Wildcats had held the Bison scoreless through the first two quarters of the contest.

The Centura boys’ wrestling team was hoping that they would be hitting their stride in the weeks leading up to postseason competition. However, finding a foothold in a field of talented wrestlers at last week’s Ord Invite proved to be too tall of a task for the Burgundy and Gray, with the Centurions’ exiting the Chanticleers’ meet without any hardware in hand.
