The community of Elba was saddened to learn that Jeff Krzycki passed away on May 25th. On Memorial Day, Arden and Ethel Svoboda and Lavern and Bev Obermeier of Milford and Robert Rasmussen of rural Cotesfield were afternoon coffee guests of Gary and Charlotte Rasmussen at Charlies.

BRAN TO STOP IN ST. PAUL NEXT WEEK

The nonprofit Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN) organization’s 2025 state-traversing ride is less than a week away. Beginning on Monday, June 1st and continuing through June 7th, more than 300 bikers— and probably around 100 additional family members and supporters—are slated to make their way from Oshkosh to Fremont as part of BRAN’s forty- third annual ride.
ALUMNI RETURN TO WOLBACH FOR BANQUET

The extended Memorial Day weekend in Wolbach brought with it many familiar traditions, including Sunday’s Wolbach Rodeo Club bull ride, Monday’s solemn remembrance at the Wolbach Community Center, and numerous get-togethers, dances, games, and fundraising events.
City agrees to reopen senior center, services limited

Last week, more than a month after the St. Paul Senior Center was closed to visitors and the local meal delivery program was suspended, city leaders took a small step towards restoring services.
