Elba High School held commencement exercises for five seniors late Saturday afternoon in the school gymnasium…Jordan Werth was the class valedictorian and Ben Dush was the salutatorian. Centura High School held their graduation on Saturday.

Nilson prepares to leave SPPS, eyes new pastures

At the end of the academic year, after more than twenty years in the profession, St. Paul Public Schools (SPPS) Science Instructor Dustin Nilson is moving on to new pastures. The longtime educator, coach, and founder of the district’s robotics team will be putting down the chalk in order to dedicate himself to his cattle business.
