Weighing pros and cons, Centurions opt up

Body On Saturday, December 6th, in Gretna, some of the biggest high schools in the state battled for the right to compete in Class A at the Nebraska State Play Production Championships this Friday in Norfolk’s Johnny Carson Theater.
CENTURA ONE ACT, which “opted up” multiple classes in the 2025 one act season, performed Going, Going, Gone with the Breeze, at the District A-3 contest in Gretna on December 6th. There, they took fourth place, coming behind first-place Gretna, second-place Malcolm, and third-place Bennington, but beating Lincoln Standing Bear, Omaha Beuna Vista, Grand Island Senior High, and Lincoln Northeast.
