City council agrees to amend contract with union

Representatives of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 1597 appeared before St. Paul city leaders last week seeking an addendum to the union’s agreement with the city, and the city’s leadership ultimately gave the union more than it had asked for.

As of Sunday afternoon, I was expecting the rivers to have dropped. So, I was surprised when they all read higher than a week ago on Friday. The South Loup River is up a bit at 130 cubic-feet-per-second (cfs). The Middle Loup River is at 903 cfs. The North Loup River had a reading of 1,190 cfs. Hunting seasons are upon us.
