The Howard County Board of Commissioners’ second regular meeting of the year was a relatively brief affair last week, with the commissioners tackling a number of items in short order. In a public comment following the opening of last Tuesday’s meeting, Howard County Commissioner Kathy Hirschman congratulated Howard County dispatchers Starcie Burkett and Karol Dvorak for graduating from Communications Training Officers (CTO) class in York in early January.

A donation from Vonnie Barr was donated in memory of Drue Gellatly to the Wolbach Cemetery. A donation from Leroy and Lila Studley was donated to the Wolbach cemetery in memory of Richard Cordes and Drue Gellatly.

The regular meeting of the Wolbach Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be held on Monday, February 5th, at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall.

The monthly foot clinic will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at the Wolbach Community Center. Hours are 1:00 p.m.
