Wednesday, January 3rd Howard County Agricultural Society – 7:30 p.m. – The Howard County Agricultural Society will hold its January meeting at the Extension building at the Howard County Fairgrounds.

The new year brings with it new leadership for the City of St. Paul.

We would like to thank everyone who came to our fiftieth anniversary party. You made it a very special day for us. Thank you for all of the beautiful cards and gifts. The Family of Rosella Hiegel would like to thank everyone for their love and support during the time of her illness and death. Thank you to the staff of CHI Health St. Francis, Good Samaritan Society, and St. Croix Hospice. Thank you also to Pastor Craig Niemeier and the members of Zion Lutheran Church, Worms, for your care and prayers. We rejoice in knowing Mom had placed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and has received her Crown of Life. As of last Thursday morning, the South Loup River was at 183 cfs and the Middle Loup River had a reading of 1,230 cfs. We have an early timeline this week for the paper, and we are having Christmas on Saturday, so I’m writing this on Thursday morning.
