Body Checking the river levels on Sunday evening, the flows were up again due to the rain. Both the South Loup and Middle Loup rivers are about twice what is normal for this time of year. The South Loup River is running 253 cfs and the Middle Loup at St. Paul is 1,030 cfs.

Body Lifelong Boelus resident Norine (Young) Nielsen, eighty-nine, was the grand marshal of the Boelus parade that was held on Sunday, June 29th. Nielsen was born on March 25th, 1925 on the family farm three miles west of Boelus, where she was also raised.
