Mark and Judy Dugan attended grandson Broc Porter’s ball game in Elba on Tuesday evening. Shelly Wolinski and Kerry Kolar spent the weekend camping near the river with friends and family from Newman Grove, Bennington, Murray, and Lincoln.

St. Libory Elementary has recently announced their honor roll for the third and fourth quarters.

More than 4,120 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance in the spring 2022 semester. Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.75 or above on at least twelve graded credit hours receive semester honors along with commendations from their deans.

I’m sending a big thank you to the individual(s) or organization that brought an EMS survival kit to the City of St. Paul office. Your creativity and thoughtfulness have not gone unnoticed. This is greatly appreciated.

The St. Paul Country Quilters met on June 20th at the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Life Center with President Kathy Meyer presiding. Nine members were present. The treasurer’s report and minutes were given and approved.

The St. Paul Fire and Rescue would like to thank the community and surrounding areas for the support they showed at the pancake feed and raffle.

I would like to express my sincerest thanks to St. Paul’s American Legion Post 119 for sponsoring my attendance of 2022 Cornhusker Boys State in Lincoln from June 5th through June 11th. At Boys’ State, I was able to experience, learn about, and gain an appreciation for the daily lives of those who run our country at the state, county, and city levels. Because of your generous contributions and support, I have gained a greater understanding of and respect for our country’s democracy while making valuable friendships throughout the week. I appreciate your selection!

I want to thank all of you who sent greetings, cards, flowers, special gifts, put my picture in the paper, visited, and provided food for the birthday meal. Thank you Larry and Darlene for the party at the lake for my 104th birthday.

I wish to thank my children and their spouses for the dinner out and surprise. Also, thank you to the forty who call me grandma for the cards, flowers, gifts, and phone calls.
