The Royal Coachmen Car Club’s annual Grover Cleveland Alexander (GCA) Days events seemed to suffer a decrease in turnout overall from the highs of 2022 and 2023, but Royal Coachmen Car Club President Marcus Paczosa said last week that his organization is still “very pleased” with the events overall.

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol removed twenty-nine impaired drivers from the road during the Independence Day weekend. “Nebraska roadways were busy over the Fourth of July weekend,” said Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.
On July 10th, the St. Paul High School Class of 1949 met at La Peña in St. Paul for their annual reunion. This was a milestone reunion for the group, as they celebrated seventy-five years out of high school. Following lunch, attendees met at the home of Bettie Spilger for an extended reunion and dessert. At 3:00 p.m., the group called the three classmates who live on the west coast. Those three are Milroy Svoboda, Joyce (Rohman) Helsley, and Donna (Bydalek) Smith.
Annual event to begin five-day run in St. Paul on Saturday The Howard County Fair is only a few short days away, with events officially kicking off this Saturday, July 13th.
