District to use savings, low-interest bonds to finance $10 million project Howard Greeley Rural Public Power District (RPPD) is looking to build a new home.

The Nebraska Supreme Court’s annual summer tour made its way through central Nebraska Monday, giving the state’s highest court an opportunity to meet with local judges and court staff, hear about challenges facing rural courts, and see how local judicial systems are addressing those challenges.

Another annual Boelus Days celebration—perhaps the last before the event becomes biennial— is in the books, and for the second year running the Howard City festival has been “jinxed with rain.”

The Wolbach Senior Citizens met on July 29th at the Wolbach Community Center for cards with eight seniors present. Delvin Teter won high, Paul Nielsen low, and Linda Peer traveling.

Ten Years Ago, 2016 Morgan Rosander and Evan Beck of Wolbach were among the winners at the Greeley County Fair Horse Show. Rosander was Grand Champion in English Pleasure, English Equitation, Junior Pole Bending and Junior Barrel Racing and showed the Reserve Champion Mare.
