Irrigation season reported to be longest in memory According to Farwell Irrigation District Manager Matt Lukasiewicz, the 2025 irrigation season was the irrigation district’s longest in recent memory. Spurred by a dry offseason, the district began water delivery May 27th, uncharacteristically early.

Centura Public Schools underwent a renovation of its art rooms over the summer and slightly into this academic year. The roughly $70,000 undertaking restructured the department’s former “clean” and “dirty” art rooms into a single, large space able to accommodate more students and larger projects.
