Sunday morning, we had low-lying fog. It made for a beautiful sunrise.

Hunters are reminded they may donate whole field-dressed deer to the Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH) program at ten processor locations in Nebraska. The participating meat processors are: Amherst, Belschner Custom Meats; Elmwood, Elmwood Meat Plant; Lindsay, Melcher Locker & Produce; Minden, Midwest Meat Company; Norfolk, R&M Meats; North Platte, Kelley’s Custom Pack; Plattsmouth, Meat Garden Butchery; Table Rock, Den’s Country Meats; Ulysses, The Butchery; and Wahoo, Wahoo Locker LLC.

The Howard Greeley County Food Pantry will be handing out their annual Thanksgiving boxes on Saturday, November 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Dave and Barbara Tuma attended Mass at St. Josaphat’s Church in Loup City Tuesday evening. They then enjoyed the Thanksgiving supper at the parish hall. Later, they attended the one act play, The Pirates of Monkey Island, at the Loup City school as granddaughter Reagan Skibinski was one of the performers.

Volunteers from across the City of St. Paul will no longer have a hand in identifying nuisance properties within the municipality.
