Hunters may donate deer to Hunters Helping the Hungry

Hunters are reminded they may donate whole field-dressed deer to the Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH) program at ten processor locations in Nebraska. The participating meat processors are: Amherst, Belschner Custom Meats; Elmwood, Elmwood Meat Plant; Lindsay, Melcher Locker & Produce; Minden, Midwest Meat Company; Norfolk, R&M Meats; North Platte, Kelley’s Custom Pack; Plattsmouth, Meat Garden Butchery; Table Rock, Den’s Country Meats; Ulysses, The Butchery; and Wahoo, Wahoo Locker LLC.

Dave and Barbara Tuma attended Mass at St. Josaphat’s Church in Loup City Tuesday evening. They then enjoyed the Thanksgiving supper at the parish hall. Later, they attended the one act play, The Pirates of Monkey Island, at the Loup City school as granddaughter Reagan Skibinski was one of the performers.

Senior leaders key part of Centurions’ production

November means one act play production season across the Cornhusker State, and at Centura High School, the curtain’s already been drawn. The Howard County school started its season early this year, having gone west to the Loup City Parade of Plays for their first judged performance on November 1st. Since, Centura has attended invites in York and Central Valley.
