Area students earn degrees from UNL

Body The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conferred a record 3,885 degrees during commencement exercises May 8th and May 9th. The 3,762 graduates— also a record—are from sixty-one countries; forty-five states and the District of Columbia; and 230-plus Nebraska communities.

Spring staple aims to get kids moving

Body More than 100 St. Paul Public Schools (SPPS) kindergarten through sixth graders walked to school together last Thursday morning, April 30th as part of St. Paul Public Schools’ (SPPS) Elementary Walk to School Day, an annual spring celebration at the district.
