County official urges board to “fix” issues with county wages During their first regular meeting of the month of July last Tuesday, the Howard County Commissioners revisited two concerns raised during their final meeting of June: wages for dispatchers at the Howard County Communication Center and the gaps in the courthouse’s new front steps. Concerning the first item, officers and employees of several county offices had made their way to the commissioners’ meeting room last week.
