HOWARD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER HCMC’s educational event a hit in first year Last Tuesday midmorning, from 9:00 until 11:30 a.m., the Howard County Medical Center (HCMC) gave students the opportunity to explore the county critical access hospital’s new Wellness Center addition while learning skills and tips geared towards protecting and improving mental and physical health and wellness. HCMC Foundation/ Marketing Director Keely Huebner said last week that the event, dubbed On Track to Wellness, “came about because Howard County Medical Center is always striving to educate about health and wellbeing to the public.

On Friday, October 24th, an Egyptian trade team made a visit to the Elba community. Their first stop was Mr. and Mrs. John Dvoracek’s farm, where they had the experience of meeting several of the Elba FFA members and officers, along with seeing some of Mr. Dvoracek’s sorghum test plots.
