The Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB) Seniors notched a 15-3 win over Shelton/Gibbon in Sunday evening’s Area C-6 semifinal round, securing their spot in their fourth consecutive area championship game. DCB, who hosted this week’s area tournament, had little trouble finding holes in the Shelton/ Gibbon defense on Sunday, as they totaled fifteen hits and thirteen RBIs.

The St. Paul Post 119 American Legion Seniors’ postseason run came to an end Sunday afternoon after the boys from Aurora eliminated the locals from Area B-4 District Tournament contention 16-0.

The Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB) Juniors’ season came to an end last Wednesday, as a late-innings rally lifted Imperial past the Juniors, 12-9, in the third round of the 2022 Nebraska American Legion Class C State Tournament.

It was one win down, four to go for the Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB) Juniors. On Sunday, July 17th, the DCB Juniors handed Creighton/Plainview a 7-3 loss in the opening round of the 2022 Nebraska American Legion Class C State Tournament.

For the second consecutive season, the Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB) Juniors secured their spot in the Nebraska American Legion Class C State Tournament. The Juniors’ path to the Area C-6 District Championship was a unique one.

In the weeks leading up to the upcoming Area B-4 District Tournament, the St. Paul Seniors scheduled an extra game with Broken Bow for last Wednesday at Grover Cleveland Alexander Field in St.
