Centura blows past Malcolm in district final at Cairo For the first time in program history, the Centura Diamonds are district champions. Last Friday on their home diamond in Cairo, Centura tallied thirty-two hits and twenty- six runs to sweep Malcolm in a best-of-three C-7 District Final, securing their spot in the upcoming NSAA Class C State Softball Championships.

The St. Paul softball team came up one game shy of a district final berth last Tuesday as the Wildcats fell to conference rival Central City in the C-3 Subdistrict championship game, 11-1.
