Central Valley falls to Shelton in quarterfinals A first-round matchup with the defending Class D-2 state champions is a tough draw for anybody. On Thursday at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, the Central Valley Cougars learned that lesson first-hand.

For the third straight season, the Central Valley Cougars are headed to Lincoln. In last Saturday’s D1-3 District Final in Greeley, the third-seeded Cougars punched their tickets to the NSAA State Volleyball Championships with a 3-1 win over fourteenth-seeded Lourdes Central Catholic.
