A little over a month ago, a new mixed-animal veterinary clinic opened in Howard County. Located just east of Highway 281 about midway between St. Paul and St. Libory, at 663 8th Avenue, Gage Valley Veterinary Clinic sits on the southwestern edge of the eponymous Gage Valley.

Since his May 25th swearing in at St. Paul City Hall, Officer Chris Grooms says he is becoming acclimated to being a municipal police officer in the Howard County community. Grooms is a certified officer whose move to join the St. Paul Police Department came following six years spent as a deputy with the Valley County Sheriff’s Office.

Ten Years Ago, 2012 Construction workers continue to make progress on the new Wolbach Community Center, as the roof and sides are now in place. That gives residents a good idea of what the center will look like when completed.
