Body Two St. Paul Residents were taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 4th Street and Howard Avenue.

Body In the late afternoon on Sunday, I checked the river flows. The South Loup River was at 162 cfs, compared to last week’s reading of 149 cfs, and the Middle Loup River was at 1,180 cfs, compared to last week’s reading of 1,310 cfs.

Body The October joint meeting of the Legion, Sons, and Auxiliary Unit 236 was called to order by Commander Luke Thompson. Invocation was given by Chaplin Rhonda Allen. Chaplin Commander Thompson and Auxiliary President Steenson observed the POW/MIA chair ceremony.

Body The regular meeting of the Wolbach Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be held next Monday, November 6th, at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall.

Body The Wolbach Senior Citizens met on October 25th with fifteen guests. They played three tables of pitch, with five players at each table. Delvin Teter won high, Jan Steenson was low, and Dick Peetz won traveling.

Body At the St. Paul Library on Friday, October 20th, a large group of St. Paul elementary students worked to bring some of their favorite characters to life as part of the school district and library’s Literary Pumpkin Project.
