The Ray Mapes American Legion Post 236 of Wolbach held its sixth annual barbeque cook-off on Saturday. For the price of fifteen dollars, attendees could sample an array of barbecued meat and sides from eight teams of local and visiting pitmasters.

The Wolbach senior citizens met on September 27th. Linda Fuller and Linda Peter won high, Bud Vopat received low, and Bill Swanson won traveling. Marj did visit for a little while. The group’s meeting will be on October 25th at 2:00 p.m.
