KERNELS PUNCH TICKET TO STATE

Body For the fourth consecutive season, the Central City/Centura baseball team is headed to the NSAA State Baseball Tournament. Last Friday evening in Cairo, the top-seeded Kernels found themselves in a pitcher’s duel with second-seeded Omaha Roncalli Catholic.

Centura golfers compete at LouPlatte Conference meet

Body The LouPlatte Conference continues to sport some of the best golf teams in central Nebraska, and the Centura boys found themselves among those ranks last week. On Thursday, the Centurions joined eight other teams for the annual Lou-Platte Conference Golf Tournament.
