In the afternoon on Saturday, May 10th, in the Central Valley Auditorium on Clair Street in Greeley, twenty-four Cougars turned the tassels on their mortarboards, marking the closure of their high school careers.

CENTRAL VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS collected over 300 pounds of food for the Howard Greeley County Food Pantry during their “Can You Build It?” campaign. The first grade class was the winner of the competition with their football theme. The food pantry is very appreciative of the students’ hard work in helping to feed those in need.

Area groups benefit from Go Big Give

The twelfth annual Go Big Give event closed its annual twenty-four-hour day of giving on May 1st. The event, which is put on by the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way, promotes donations to nonprofits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick counties.
