Ten Years Ago, 2012 The Greeley-Wolbach one-act students ended their season on a successful note by placing second in the district competition with their comedy play, Murder Most Fowl. Hilary Buoy said that several students received outstanding awards for their performances. Skyler Erickson, Ryley Dugan, Bryan O’Connor, Trey Nekoliczak, and Nathaniel Ibach all received outstanding awards for their acting, and the rest of the cast all received superiors.

All year long, I have been doing the best that I could to secure my spot on the nice list this Christmas. Because of the possibility that Santa Claus will be sliding down my chimney on Christmas Eve – and yes, for the first time since my youth I have a chimney for the big guy to make his grand entrance from – I have been taking advantage of visiting with Santa every chance I get.

As of Sunday, the South Loup is back to skating ice. The Middle Loup River at St. Paul is down a little this week, with a reading of 1.350 cubic feet per second. We are seeing a little ice on the Middle Loup, along with some beautiful sunsets.

Ten Years Ago, 2012 On Saturday, the Howard County Crimestoppers were at the intersection of Sixth Street and Howard Ave. in St. Paul collecting money for the Salvation Army. This year, the local Scouts helped with the project. Their efforts resulted in over $700 in donations being raised for the Salvation Army.
