The July meeting of the 49 County Clovers started off with the 4-H pledge. The group talked about some of the extra fair activities, including movie night, the water balloon fight, and livestock judging. Following this, they began their showmanship practice. They had cattle, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, and small animals. It was a great learning experience and chance for those members who haven’t shown animals to see what shows are all about.

The family of LaVonne Anderson would like to thank their family members and friends for being there with them for LaVonne’s funeral. They would also like to thank the church ladies for preparing the luncheon, and Pastor Steven Neal for comforting the family and conducting the service. Special thanks to everyone who sent flowers, plants, and memorial donations. Also, thanks to the staff at Brookefield Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for the excellent care they gave her.
