Vonnie Barr and Jan Steenson, local American Legion Unit 236 members, represented the until at the District 6 Valentine/Bingo event for veterans at the Grand Island Medical Center in Grand Island. Vonnie and Jan put a relish tray together, others filled bags for the veterans to take when they were done playing bingo, and others prepared little smokies and meatballs.

Cyclists will come rolling into St. Paul in less than four months as a part of Bike Ride Across Nebraska, and area organizations and the City of St. Paul are already starting to plan for their arrival.
