The Dannebrog-Cairo- Boelus (DCB) and Malcolm Seniors were on a collision course for a rematch of last year’s state championship game all season long. Last Tuesday, that became a reality when DCB caught fire in the losers’ bracket, topping Lincoln Lutheran in a 10-0 shutout and breezing past a red-hot Imperial team in the semifinals, 19-2.

In a rematch of last year’s Class C state championship bout, starting pitchers Mason Gorecki and Maddox Meyer showcased one of the most electric pitchers’ duels of the season, as Malcolm escaped with a 1-0 victory to remain in the top half of the bracket.

JR. HIGH FOOTBALL CONDITIONING TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK Junior High football conditioning for students at St. Paul Public Schools will begin next Monday, August 7th at 8:30 a.m. and will last until 10:00 a.m. each day.
