Stanley H. Nelson, 83, died on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Ridgeway Senior Living Center in Lexington.

Larry L. “Gambler” Fishell, 81, formerly of St.

James “Jim” J. Hurt, 89, formerly of Kearney, died on July 18, 2023 at the Genoa Community Hospital in Genoa. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on July 26, 2023 at St. James Catholic Church. Fr. Joesph Hannappel officiated. Burial followed at the Kearney Cemetery, with military rites provided by the United States Navy Funeral Honors Team, Kearney American Legion Post No. 52, and Kearney V.F.W. Post No. 759.
