Body During the Howard County Board of Commissioners’ second June regular meeting on June 24th, members of the board heard or gave updates on multiple county projects and voted on the vacation of a one-mile stretch of 8th Avenue, among other items.

Body One person was taken to Howard County Medical Center in St. Paul following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 281 and Howard Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. The Nebraska State Patrol investigated the accident.

Following fire, mobile shop back in operation

Body On the morning of Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, plumes of black smoke rose above St. Paul’s main thoroughfare. In the alley behind Bed Head Coffee Co., between Howard Avenue and Indian Street, flames engulfed Bed Head’s mobile coffee shop.
