The St. Paul Country Quilters met at Matelyn Retirement Community on Monday, March 16th for a short meeting.

The David Gorecki family extends our deepest appreciation to family and friends who offered such kindness and support during dad’s illness and since his passing. We especially wish to thank Father Vince Parsons, Father Richard Piontkowski, Father Alex Borzych, Deacon Phil Lukasiewicz, and Deacon Neil Baquet for all the visits and the beautiful celebration of life; Eucharistic ministers Connie Weber and Rick Gorecki; lector Ron Gorecki, and the Lewandowski family for the beautiful music.

Wednesday noon, Dave and Barbara Tuma enjoyed dinner in Ashton with Kayann Skibinski of rural Loup City. Don and Kathy Gorecki and Andrew of rural Farwell accompanied Dave and Barbara Tuma to Greeley on Friday evening where they attended Stations of the Cross and the Knight’s of Columbus Fish Fry at Sacred Heart Church.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is reminding the public that it is unlawful to place political campaign signs, or any signs, on state highway and interstate rightof- way. This includes intersections, medians, entrance and exit ramps, sidewalks and the ditches and lands that make up the rightof- way bordering the length of each roadway.

St. Paul juniors and seniors are adhering to the rules when it comes to the district’s new open campus policy.

Luanne Steenson Mobley of Omaha was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs.
