St. Paul Public Schools staged its biennial variety show last Saturday evening, presenting a smorgasbord of song performances and skits adapted from Disney properties before an audience in the elementary gymnasium.

The sixty-day second session of the 108th Legislature came to an end last Thursday, April 18th. In an address to lawmakers last week, Governor Jim Pillen said that senators should be proud of their accomplishments but stressed that the failure of the state’s legislative branch to pass his sponsored property tax relief package, Legislative Bill (LB) 388, would lead him to reconvene the body later this year.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION was celebrated during the ten o’clock Mass on Sunday, April 14th, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. Twenty-six students received the special sacrament.
