Body A memorial was made to the Wolbach Splash Pad Fund in memory of Peggy Ondracek from Butch and Jane Spence. A memorial was made to the Wolbach Community Center in memory of Beverly (Berney) Newquist from family members and friends.

SENIOR CITIZENS GATHER

Body The Wolbach Senior Citizens met on June 26th with sixteen members playing pitch. Winners were Dick Berney, high; Bud Vopat, low; and Linda Peer, traveling. The group will meet again on July 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Wolbach Community Center.

ST. PAUL’S SAM WELLS recently received a $1,000 Central Nebraska Senior Golf Association Scholarship. Wells was awarded the scholarship during a special presentation at Centura Hills Golf Club near Cairo, with 144 of the 525 members of the Central Nebraska Senior Golf Association in attendance. Body To Taylor and Beth Hencey of Chadron, Nebraska, a boy, Bryson Taylor, was born on June 26, 2024. Bryson weighed in at 8 lbs. 2 oz. He joins brothers Grayson and Carson. Grandparents are Brad and Ann Hencey of Chadron and Loren and Barb Wroblewski of St. Paul.

Body UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER Diplomas and certificates were conferred on more than 1,100 University of Nebraska Medical Center students during ceremonies held May 2nd in Lincoln, Norfolk, and Kearney and May 4th in Omaha and Scottsbluff.
