City council okays fee changes at cemetery

For the second time this year, voters in the St. Paul School District will have the opportunity to vote on whether they want to support the issuance of bonds for the construction of new classrooms at St. Paul Public Schools (SPPS), and district leaders hope voters take the time to make an informed decision.

As of Sunday afternoon, the South Loup River was at 139 cubic feet per second (cfs), the Middle Loup River was at 1,520 cfs. The North Loup River went down, with a reading of 722 cfs. Duck seasons started west of us on Saturday October 26th and Monday, October 28th, Goose season starts for both sides of the highway by us. Statewide pheasant and quail seasons started on Saturday, October 26th.
Commissioners approve multiple resolutions

A series of resolutions, passed without much fanfare, made for the briefest regular meeting of the Howard County Board of Commissioners in at least four years last Wednesday, October 22nd. Among the few non-resolution-based items on the agenda last week were a brief update on the new county roads building, which broke ground earlier this month; a brief public hearing; and a discussion pertaining to received mail.
