The Elba Bluejays managed to hang with High Plains through the first sixteen minutes of last week’s holiday break contest; however, coming out of halftime, the Storm shifted gears and managed to blow past the Bluejays.

Central Valley thwarts Stuart comeback in championship The Central Valley Cougars notched their eighth win of the season against Stuart last Tuesday afternoon, with the Cougars’ 5543 victory helping the Greeley County kids secure the championship of the Central Valley Holiday Tournament. “It is always nice to win the holiday tournament, especially on our home court there,” said Central Valley Head Coach Nolan Kratzer.
